Bearhunt Inspirationals
Come on over to myplace

No, it's not another ham fisted chat up line - myplace is a once in a lifetime opportunity to change the space and the place that young people occupy in our society.

This £270 million investment by the Department of Children, Schools and Families will see the creation of some 70 World class places to go for young people. Working as a part of a consortium including Hall Aiten; Gleeds; YMCA; Burness; Durham University and YMCA College, Bearhunt will play a major role over a three year period to contribute to the success of myplace.

Our team are looking at long term financial sustainability for centres, working to develop business plans and an entrepreneurial culture; engaging the private sector, philanthropists and other agencies; and raising the profile of myplace including the recruitment and development of a team of celebrity ambassadors.

Sport England funded some 260 projects to find innovate ways to increase participation in physical activity. Bearhunt's had a major role in dveloping an innovation core and trying to change the course of history by getting people to be more innovative - that's where Think like an eight year old comes in. To find out more about this approach go to 'Ask Mr Bearhunt to speak at your event'.
